A fan video for the 1997 film 'The Wings of a Dove' featuring one of my favorite actors: Linus Roache who plays journalist Merton Densher. The video is from Merton's POV and how he feels about Kate Croy (played by Helena Bonham Carter). Special shout out to another vidder, Nancy H. who first used this song for the same film and who without I'd have never thought to use this particular song.)

Here's what the excellent film is about: An impoverished woman (Kate) who has been forced to choose between a privileged life with her wealthy aunt and her journalist lover (Merton), befriends an American heiress (Milly, played by Alison Elliot). When she discovers the heiress is attracted to her own lover and is dying, she sees a chance to have both the privileged life she cannot give up and the lover she cannot live without.
